ESCONDIDO: DUI checkpoint nabs two
Two drivers were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence at a sobriety and driver's license checkpoint Friday night, according to Econdido police.
The checkpoint was a joint effort between the Escondido Police Department, San Diego County DUI Probation Team, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, North County Law Enforcement Traffic Safety Council, California Office of Traffic Safety, and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
